Sensex falls over 448 points on Friday after hitting record high of 29844. The fall in the index is led by the losses in HDFC Bank, ICICI, ITC and TCS.
Tracking the momentum of the 50 share Nifty index also slipped below its crucial support level of 8850 due to the losses in the banks, consumer durables, FMCG and metal stocks.
Due to the down movement of both indexes we see the unpredictable lows in many big companies stocks and see the constant low throughout the day.
NTPC, BHEL, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Power and Maruti Suzuki were among the major Sensex gainers.
State Bank of India, Dr Reddy's, Coal India, HDFC and HDFC BankBSE were the major index losers.
