Nifty closes at 8565.5, Sensex at 28350:

• ABB India has registered a whopping 42.4 percent growth in profit at Rs 84 crore for October-December quarter.

• Shares of Hindalco jumped 5 percent intraday on Tuesday after its subsidiary Novelis delivered strong December quarter earnings. 

• Essar Oil 's third quarter net profit plunged 78 percent sequentially to Rs 52 crore on the back of inventory loss of Rs 592 crore. 

Tomorrow we would see some positive movements in both the indexes due to political fluctuation and AAP historic Victory in Delhi Elections.
