The stock market still in the pressure, even it showed some recovery in the morning trade sessions. The BSE Sensex fell 399.61 points to 27201.63 and NSE Nifty down 121.63 points to 8250.23, the lowest level in the last two months.
The broader market also slipped in line with the benchmarks indices. the BSE Midcap and Smallcap are down 1.3 percent each. Nearly 4 shares declined for every share advancing on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Bank Nifty, Capital Goods, Auto and Oil & Gas index are down 2-3 percent. Bharti Airtel, Hero Motocorp, Tata Motors, Vedanta and SBI are major laggards in the Sensex. Only IT index is in the green. TCS and Infosys are up 0.5 -1 percent on a weak rupee.
