Equity benchmarks shut 1 percent lower Monday as investors worry in front of RBI arrangement. The BSE Sensex lost 246.66 points to 25616.84 and the NSE Nifty fell 72.80 points to 7795.70. Around 1149 shares have progressed, 1579 shares declined, and 127 shares are unaltered on the BSE.
Tata Motors, Vedanta, Sun Pharma, Infosys, Coal India and UltraTech Cement dove 3-6 percent. In any case, Dr Reddy's Labs beat, up 5.5 percent. Lupin, HUL, Idea Cellular, Adani Ports and YES Bank picked up 1-2 percent.
MCX SILVER December contract was trading at Rs 35460 down Rs 612, or 1.70 percent. The SILVER rate touched an intraday high of Rs 36013 and an intraday low of Rs 35400. So far 7789 contracts have been traded. SILVER prices have moved down Rs 3660, or 9.36 percent in the December arrangement as such.
MCX SILVERM November contract was trading at Rs 36009 down Rs 86, or 0.24 percent. The SILVERM rate touched an intraday high of Rs 36021 and an intraday low of Rs 35941. So far 1744 contracts have been traded. SILVERM prices have moved down Rs 7051, or 16.37 percent in the November arrangement as such.
