The stock market expanded earlier day's rally further in early trade Wednesday. The BSE Sensex surged 225.78 points or 0.88 percent to 26004.44 and the NSE Nifty climbed 71.35 points or 0.91 percent to 7914.65.
Tata Steel, Vedanta, TCS, Hindalco Industries, SBI, HDFC and IndusInd Bank revitalized 1.5-2.5 percent.
The Indian rupee picked up 9 paise in ahead of early trade today. It has opened at 65.87 per dollar against past close of 65.96.
Crude oil futures fell in ahead of early Asian trade on Wednesday after US inventories demonstrated a week by week development that far surpassed investigator desires.
The American Petroleum Institute said late on Tuesday that US crude oil stockpiles ascended by 4.6 million barrels to 457.8 million barrels in the week to September 25. Investigators surveyed by Reuters had expected an increment of just 102,000 barrels.
