Friday Evening Market Closing Update

After lot of struggle, Market finally ended red. Sensex slipped 127 points to 26,635 and Nifty dropped 33 points to 8170 points. All the sectors traded negative. BHEL, NTPC, Lupin, Reliance and Bharti Airtel were top gainers while Tata Steel, GAIL, Coal India, Tata Motors and SBI were losers in the Sensex. In Sensex, 1208 shared advanced, 1357 declined and 191 were unchanged. In Asian Market, all the indexes traded negative except the Taiwan Index. Japan's Index Nikkei closed at 16601 (-67), China's Shanghai Composite ended at 2926 (-9) and Hong Kong's Hang Seng closed at 21042 (-255). Rupee closed at 69.77 a Dollar.

In Commodity Market, Gold ended at Rs 29,895 while Silver closed at 40,958. Crude oil declined Rs 40 to Rs 3,333.
