On the last session of this week market showed its higher side after two days. Sensex likely to touch 27000, currently 75 points up to 26,921. Nifty is 24 points up touching the level of 8242. Rupee advances 9 paise to Rs 67.20 against US Dollar. Asian markets are trading mixed this morning. Nikkei is trading 35 points up to 16,598. China's Shanghai Composite fell down 0.70 to 2,924. All the sectors are trading positive. Consumer Durable sector is down with 60 points to 11586 points. Gold dropped down Rs 23 to Rs 28,840 per ten grams while Silver is up on Rs 38,530. Crude oil surged Rs 8 to Rs 3,311.
In between the stocks of Telecom company Idea stocks fell down rapidly. The stocks drifted down more than 9 percent to Rs 107. However experts are suggesting investment in them in view of the long-term profits. A report on Thursday says that private equity firm Providence Equity Partner was looking to sell almost half of the stakes to the telecom operator amounting to Rs 14 crore.
