Bank Nifty at record high - Latest Stock Market Update

As the stock market awaits Kotak Mahindra Bank's announcement today, speculations over a possible big buyout have sent some stocks including Axis Bank, Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services and Shriram Transport Finance high up. On Tuesday, the stock of these companies shot up by 3 to 5 percent in intraday trades amid expectations of a big buyout or merger announcement in the press conference which billionaire Uday Kotak, Promoter, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Bank will be holding at 3.30 pm today.

Currently, BSE Sensex is 104 points up at 29514 while NSE Nifty50 is 28 points up at 9129. Banking stocks are in focus with the Nifty Bank index hitting a record high level. Bank Nifty is live on 21383 with 158 points up.

The rally on the index was helped by surge in State Bank of India, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank. Meanwhile, the Nifty PSU bank has gained the most in this week. In Bullion Market, Gold has lost 163 points at 28685 and Silver is down by 277 points at 42,111. Crude Oil is 9 points up at 3176

Stock And Commodity Market Update

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 28,765 down 73 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8,867 down 31 points. A total of 14 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. BSE Bankex is underperforming on Friday’s trade. ICICI Bank is down by 0.9%, IndusInd Bank is down by 0.9%, Kotak Mahindra Bank is down by 0.8% and Bank of Baroda is down by 0.8%. While Axis Bank is up by 0.6%, Yes Bank is up by 0.5% and Federal Bank is up by 0.2%.

MCX Gold has moved down 31 points at 29139 while Silver is 25 points down at 42618. Cotton slipped 190 points at 21080.

It Stocks Lift Up Sensex Nifty - Intraday Stock Tips

Stock market opened lower today however after IT stocks jumped made the equity benchmarks to bounce up. Currently Sensex is 91.81 points up at 26694 and Nifty is 29 points up at 8211. IT index has moved up more than 1 percent over 170 points at 10089. Bank Nifty is 153 points up at 18495. Midcap and SmallCap indices are outperforming today. About 1338 shares have advanced, 771 shares have declined and 107 shares are still unchanged.

Gainers: TCS, Tata Steel, Infosys, HCL Tech, M&M
Losers: Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, UltraTechCement, NTPC 

In Asian Market, Nikkei is 56 points up at 19310, Shanghai Composite is 9 points down at 3131 while Hang Seng has dropped the most with 373 points down at 22082.

Market is continue showing its volatile behavior today. Sensex opened with 102 points gain but wiped off its early gains and dropped to 27705 with 31 points gain while Nifty is down by 5 points at 8577. Currently 1461 shares have advanced, 800 shares declined and 133 shares are still constant. Major Indian Sectors are trading mixed. BSE Bankex is trading highest with 250 points lead at 21966 and Bank Nifty is 172 points up at 19192. ICICI Bank, Axis bank, SBI, NTPC and Coal India are the top gainers in NSE yet.

In Asian Market, KOSPI index is 7 points up at 2030, Japan's index Nikkei is just 61 points up at 16918 and Hang Sang has slipped 137 points at 23095.

On Monday 12 September, Stock Market lost large amount of points due to weak global cues. Sensex shed 408 points at 28388 while Nifty dropped 135 points to 8730. All the sectors are trading highly negative. BSE Auto sector has dropped the maximum of 558 points to 22286, BSE BANKEX lost 552 points to 22697 and Bank Nifty dropped 449 points to 19796. Bullion market has also dropped down today. Gold has dropped 52 points to 31165 while Silver dropped 654 points to 45540. In energy sector, Natural gas dropped 2.30 points to 190.60 and Crude Oil dropped 55 points to 3025.

Asian Market Updates: Nikkei dropped 324 points to 16641, Hang Seng has lost the highest points 684 to 23415 and Shanghai Composite dropped 64 points to 3013.

Till yet 527 stocks have advanced, 1711 stocks declined and 102 stocks remained unchanged.

BSE Auto and Bankex Sector Slumped, Commodity Market Down

On Friday, 9 September Stock Market opened on a flat note. Sensex and Nifty have slumped a large amount of points. Sensex lost 236 points to 28809 and Nifty dropped 75 points to 8877. BSE Auto index is 304 points down, BSE Bankex dropped 227 points and Bank Nifty lost 190 points yet in todays session. ONGC, GAIL, TCS, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, NTPC, RIL and Coal India are among the gainers, whereas Axis Bank, Tata Motors, HDFC, ITC, SBI, Adani Ports and ICICI Bank are losing sheen on BSE.

Bullion Market is trading in the negative zone. MCX Gold has dropped 19 points to 31184 while Silver has lost 167 points to 46547. Natural Gas with no major hike trading at 187 points while Crude Oil dropped 21 points to 3143.

Asian Market Updates: Nikkei hiked just 6 points yet at 16965, Hang Seng has hiked 212 points to 24131 and Shanghai Composite lost 17 points to 3078.

The market has ended on strong note with support from index heavyweights. The Sensex ended up 292.80 points or 1 percent at 28152.40, and the Nifty was up 80 points or 0.9 percent at 8672.15. Indian Stock Market started low. Sensex Nifty Opened flat today. Sensex dropped 205 points to 27776 and Nifty dropped 54 points to 8568. Rupee declined 12 paise at 66.85 against US Dollar. Today Market started with the red struggled through and finally ended higher. Sensex closed at 28095 with 292 points up while Nifty closed at 8635 with 94 points up. All the major Indian sectors traded high in the positive zone with Bankex Sector being at the top with 351 points up to 21729, Bank Nifty Closed at 18989 with 299 points up, Oil & Gas Sector gained 158 points at 10605 and BSE PSU sector with 136 points up closed at 7236. Commodity market fell down today. Gold dropped 146 points to 30725 while Silver dropped 426 points to 45895. Energy Sector did not show any major changes. Natural Gas closed at 188 points with 0.80 points up and Crude oil gained just 4 points to 2965. Global Indices traded low. Nikkei dropped 6 points to 16620, Hang Seng gains 29 points to 21993 and Shanghai Composite with 3 points up closed at 3016.

Stock Market Escalated To Touch Summit

Traders are on cloud-nine watching the huge opening of market today. Getting immense signals from Asian and American Market, Domestic Market did a tremendous opening today. BSE Sensex touching the summit jumped 325 points and NSE Nifty jumped 110 points to 7,858 points. Except Pharma index sector all other sectors are working positive.

Banking, auto, IT, Metal Goods, Power and Oil or Gas are witnessing strong buying. Nifty's Auto index 1.25%, IT Index 2.27%  and Metal Index 1.15% are gaining steadily. In BSE's Capital Goods index 1.25%,Power index 1%, and in Oil and Gas index 0.7% swiftness is seen. Bank Nifty reached level of 16765 by bouncing 2% up. In all indexes of Nifty buying is seen. In stocks of Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, Hindalco, TCS, Ambuja Cements, Axis Bank, Adani Port, BHEL 2-9% of steady increase is seen. In Mid-Cap stocks Bajaj Holding, Jindal Steel, Exide, Ashok Leyland and India Bulls Housing rose by 2.6-1.9 %. On the other hand in Small-cap stocks Zee Media, Link Pens, R Systems, Automotive Excel were maximum incremented upto 12.6-6.7%.

Global market is rising due to the fact of good sales of New Homes in America. Impact of this is seen in domestic market too. Increment in banking stocks of Domestic Market have forced nifty and sensex to drift high. Sensex railed over 300 points this morning due to the sharp gain in the stocks of Infosys, TCS, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank.

According to the experts, buying profitable stocks for today can be Jain Irrigation, Reliance, RCF, Oil India and Pidilite. Traders are happy to see this boom in market.

In the last session of the week, due to negative signals from Asian Market there is slump in domestic market. The major index of BSE Sensex drop down by 300 points and reached to 2546.2 points and the major index of NSE Nifty drop down by 66 points and reached to 7834 points. Today almost all indexes are trading on red signal. Also there is a high downfall in metals and banking sector too. Bank nifty has dropped with one percent and reached to 16734 points and 1.5 percent of decline in metal index. Out of 50 shares in Nifty only 6 are trading with green signal and other 44 are trading with a heavy downfall. Top five losers of Nifty are Eicher Motors, Dr Reddy, ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel. With high Business, the top five gainers of Nifty are HCL Tech, TATA Motors, Adani Ports, Idea and BPCL. These all stocks have jumped over 1 to 1.5 percent. Adani Ports, Asian Paints, Tata Motors and ITC are top gainers while HUL, ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, BHEL and Bharti Airtel are losers in the Sensex. According to the experts, due to Mauritius tax treaty, recession was seen in markets and market down assumption was made. However for Indian Markets this tax treaty is useful and are expecting some positive signals for the markets.

On Monday business in Indian stock market was seen at higher pace. A healthy business is seen in all the sectors of the market. In initial half an hour Sensex zoomed over 300 points and reached to 25550 and thereafter nifty business above 7800 and now it's on 7828 points. NTPC, Bajaj Auto, HDFC twins and ITC are top gainers in Sensex.  Indian currency got increased with 3 paise in text with dollar. On Wednesday it was closed on 66.55. Forex experts says that Indian rupee can work in the range of 66.40-66.75. There was a downfall of 1.25 percent in Titan. Bank nifty was seen at very good state with increment of more than 0.58 percent. According to the experts there will be boom in diamond and gold sales on Akshaya-Tritiya. SEBI has expanded probe to Mallaya firms.

On Wednesday Trading Session, Sensex and Nifty are moving downwards. Due to the weak signs of American and Asian market, our domestic market opened with loss and both Indian Benchmark Indexes have dropped to the lowest of last 52 weeks. Currently, Sensex live at 23806 with the loss of 220 points and Nifty Live at 7236 with the loss of 70 points. In NSE, Banking, Auto and Pharma index are moving under the loss. With the drop of 1% Bank Nifty is moving on the level of 14731. Auto, Realty, and Pharma Indexes have slipped by 1.5%, whether IT and MNC Indexes are paced up by 0.5%.
