Equity Benchmarks Under Selling Pressure - Rupee Fell Down

The market continues to struggle ahead of November Futures and Options expiry today. Selling pressure continues over the market. The BSE Sensex is down 105.71 points or 0.4 percent at 25946.10 and the 50-share index Nifty is down 37.90 points or 0.5 percent at 7995.40. About 1135 shares have advanced, 929 shares declined, and 110 shares are still unchanged. Indian Currency Rupee has striked the 9 months lowest today.

In Bullion Market MCX Gold dropped 157 points at 28672 and Silver is 383 points down at 40143. In Energy sector, Natural Gas trading at 207 points with mere drop of 2.50 points and Crude Oil has lost 13 points at 3305.

In Asian Market, Nikkei is 191 points up at 18354 while Hang Seng is 66 points down at 22610 and Taiwan Index is trading 26 points down at 9152.

Benchmark Indices Slipping Down Further - Stocks In Focus Today

Sensex and Nifty have fell down in negative territory with major losses. Sensex is 392 points down at 26426 and Nifty moved 141 points down at 8155. The Market is still slipping away In broader market BSE Auto has slipped the most with 894 points drop at 19668, BSE Bankex is 192 points down at 22411 and Bank Nifty is trading down at 8155 with 141 points drop.

Asian Market Updates: Global indices are on a flat note. Japan's index Nikkei is 23 points down at 17649, Hang Seng is 89 points up at 22311 and Shanghai Composite is live at 3202 with 7 points down.
