On
Monday, the first trading day of the week, the stock market is open
on the green. The major share of the market is seeing a surge in the
Sensex and Nifty. With a gain of 93.16 points Sensex was trading at
27307.76.
The Nifty is seeing a gain of 58.65 points. Nifty was trading at 8262.55, with the edge. Last week, the last day of trading Friday, or 0.76 per cent, BSE Sensex gained 204 points to close at 27.215.
Similarly, the NSE Nifty gained 59 points or 0.72 percent to close at the 8238. BSE Midcap index closed with a slight rise of 0.38 per cent, while the BSE smallcap flat with a gain of just 0.05 percent.
The 0.50 per cent and the CNX Smallcap NSE CNX Midcap gained 0.20 per cent.
