Stock and Commodity Market Tips for 17th May

Stock Market News 
Benchmark indices continued to trade flat with a positive bias, while the Nifty hovered around 9500-mark. The Sensex was up 18.73 points at 30601.33, while the Nifty was down 3.20 points at 9509.05. The market breadth was very narrow as 1,185 shares advanced against a decline of 1,111 shares, while 118 shares were unchanged. Tata Steel, ICICI Bank and Indiabulls Housing Finance continued to gain, while Wipro, Adani Ports, Tech Mahindra and Yes Bank lost the most. Metals outperformed on the Nifty, with the sector’s index gaining over 2 percent.

Commodity Market News
Crude Oil prices retreated on Wednesday, weighed by renewed concerns that U.S. production is undercutting the global oil cartel’s efforts to put the market back to balance.

Copper trading range for the day is 357.5-365.5. Copper recovered from lows on short covering after prices dropped amid worries about China's slowing economic growth and tighter capital markets in China. China's growth took a step back in April after a surprisingly strong start to the year. The chief executive of Freeport-McMoRan said demand for copper remains strong, with Europe and North America showing steady improvement.

Stock Market opened with the negative breadth today. Sensex has dropped down 109 points at 27739 and Nifty has lost 42 points at 8590. Shares of Oil and Natural Gas Corp rise as much as 4.93 pct to highest since June 2015. Global stocks posted their biggest loss in six weeks after Trump signed an executive order on Friday to bar Syrian refugees indefinitely and suspend travel to the United States from seven Muslim-majority countries, sparking widespread protests.

Latest Stock Market Updates - MidCap Still in Green

Stock market slipped down on the first session of the new year. Sensex dropped down 136 points at 26489 while 50 share index Nifty is 38 points down at 8147. Nifty Midcap is 22 points up at 14389. All the commodities of MCX are trading in the positive zone with nickel leading the region 0.79 percent hike while Gold has hiked 70 points at 27515 and Silver was 138 points up at 39187. Crude Oil hiked 23 points at 3673.

About 1377 shares have advanced, 825 shares have declined and 1430 shares are still unchanged.

Stock Market Moving Down - Expert Views Today

Sensex has drop down 230 points at 26329 while Nifty has lost 76 points yet at 8116. In Broader market BSE Small Cap has dropped 91 points at 12158 and BSe Midcap came down 94 points at 12261. According to experts Stock market may move further down and Nifty can break the BREXIT level and may drop further more down.

Commodity Segment is somewhat higher, with Gold gaining 280 points at 28200 and Silver has gone up 314 points at 40032. Asian Market Updates: In Asian Market, all the global indices are trading down. Equity benchmark indices being volatile moving continuously in positive and negative graph. Currently Sensex is 51 points up at 26350 and Nifty has paced up 11 points at 8122. In broader market, sectors are trading mixed. BSE Small Cap is 39 points down at 11868, BSE Midcap has dropped 11 points at 12032 and Nifty Midcap lost 21 points at 14273. Indian currency, Rupee is trading higher by 5 pause at 67.89 against US Dollar.

Commodity market is moving gradually down. Copper is 3 points down at 366, Nickel is 6 points down at 763 and zinc with minor drop of 2 points live at 169. In Bullion Market, Gold moved down 58 points at 29325 and Silver is 99 points down at 41139. While in NCDEX market commodity are rising with major points, rmseed lost 20 points at 4457, Sybeanidr has drifted up 41 points at 3025 and Dhaniya is 141 points up at 7798.

Stock Market opened flat today after the Brexit issue result three days back. However market is struggling to be bullish in between. Sensex live at 26387 and Nifty live at 8084. Rupee opened at 67.53 against Dollar. Maximum Indian sectors are trading positive instead of IT, Metals, Auto and Teck sector. In Asian Market, Nikkei trading positive at 15261 with 309 points up, Shanghai Composite trading at 2878 with 24 points up and all other indexes are trading red. In a gradually changing market, today Rupee opened at 66.57 per dollar. FOREX experts says that the business of Rupee can be in the range between 66.40-66.75. In comparison to last year’s selling, increasing prices of Gold can decrease the selling of jewelleries on the occasion of Akshaya-Tritiya coming on 9th of this month. Prices of Gold increased and reached to 30000, also there was a hike of 50 points in Silver. In Agri-Commodity it was a mixed and matched business. Prices of some commodity increased where as there was a decrease in some of the commodities. Also there was gradual decrement in crude oil prices. After recovery in the stock market, Nifty and Sensex are doing business with a downfall. Sensex has dropped with 34 points and has reached to 25228 and Nifty dropped with 2 points and reached to 7733. Maximum increase was seen in indexes of government banks and Syndicate Bank is leading on top.

After a holiday of Republic day, Wednesday Trading Session opened with the loss of 7 paise in Rupee. Currently, Rupee is trading at 67.96 against the Dollar. In Stock Market, both Sensex and Nifty are moving up with positive sign with the respective gain of 46.03 & 13.00 points. Although, Stock Market had an average performance, but Gold and Silver made some great leads today with the hike of 326 and 450 points respectively. Gold went up to the top of last 11 weeks and Crude Oil received the drop of 2.64% today.

The stock market opened, the Sensex, Nifty jump shot

On Monday, the first trading day of the week, the stock market is open on the green. The major share of the market is seeing a surge in the Sensex and Nifty. With a gain of 93.16 points Sensex was trading at 27307.76.

The Nifty is seeing a gain of 58.65 points. Nifty was trading at 8262.55, with the edge. Last week, the last day of trading Friday, or 0.76 per cent, BSE Sensex gained 204 points to close at 27.215.

Similarly, the NSE Nifty gained 59 points or 0.72 percent to close at the 8238. BSE Midcap index closed with a slight rise of 0.38 per cent, while the BSE smallcap flat with a gain of just 0.05 percent.

The 0.50 per cent and the CNX Smallcap NSE CNX Midcap gained 0.20 per cent.
