Stock market opened flat today, later equity markets fell in the negative zone. Equity benchmarks extended losses in noon trade. Sensex is live at 27946 with 104 points down and Nifty has dropped 34 points at 8643. Market is going in the sell direction. Some sectors are still trading in the positive direction.
In Asian Market, global indices are also showing flat movement.
Nikkei has hiked 35 points at 16998, Hang Seng has lost 69 points at 23324 and Shanghai Composite dropped 2 points at 3081.
Commodity market is also trading down today. MCX Gold is just 4 points up at 29790 while Silver has lost 5 points at 42170 and Crude Oil jumped 48 points at 3426.
As predicted by the experts yesterday, market can be cautious and hence is the result.
BHEL, Wipro, Lupin, Idea Cellular and GAIL are the top gainers while ITC, ICICI Bank, M&M, Tata Motors (D) and Tata Motors are top losers in NSE yet.
