Sensex and Nifty opened with high leads today but indices erased their early gains and drifted in the negative zone. Sensex dropped 34 points to 28299 and Nifty dropped 14 points to 8754. Smallcap and Midcap sectors are trading in the positive zone. BSE SMallcap is 51 points up to 13260, BSE Midcap is trading 32 points up to 13581 and Nifty Midcap has gained 70 points to 16050.

Overall 1391 shares have been advanced, 938 shares have declined and 108 shares are unchanged.

Commodity market is showing avarage movements today. Gold declined 23 points to 30024, Silver has hiked 74 points to 42955 and Crude Oil is trading up by 11 points at 3276.

Sensex Nifty Dropped Amids Pressure | Commodity Tips By Experts

Equity Benchmarks opened green today, but amids pressure dropped down. Sensex dropped 30 points to 28093 while Nifty dropped 2 points to 8670. BSE Small Cap drifted 64 points up to 12464, BSE midcap hiked 66 points to 13034 and Nifty MidCap with major hike of 97 points trading at 15196. Asian Market is trading mixed today. Nikkei is 59 points up while Hang Seng and Shanghai Composite are trading marginally down. The Rupee opened weak by 14 paise at 66.95 against US Dollar. The Rupee opened on fresh dollar demand from banks and importers on the back of strong dollar in overseas markets. The rupee seen at lowest level since August 9. Commodity Market is trading lower today. MCX Gold dropped 0.2 percent to 31415 and Silver dropped 0.39 percent to 45913. Crude Oil hiked 24 points to 3301 and Natural Gas with minor drop of 1.60 points trading at 178 points. In metals, Copper, Nickel, Lead and Zinc are trading with minor drops. Oil prices surged 3% overnight, with Brent hitting an eight-week high as the world's biggest producers prepare to discuss a possible freeze in production levels. SBI Stocks surged 3 percent.
