Sensex, Nifty continue to fall; Bharti, Cipla, HUL gainers - 2 Days Free Trial

Equity Benchmark indices continued to reel under selling pressure amid volatility as investors maintained cautious stance ahead of inauguration speech of Donald Trump as US President later today and after disappointing Axis Bank's earnings. Benchmark indices extended losses again. The Sensex was down 120.06 points at 27188.54 and the Nifty fell 31.20 points to 8403.90. About 1191 shares declined against 974 advancing shares on the BSE.

Asian Market Update: Nikkei has hiked 95 points at 19167 while Hong Kong's Hang Seng dropped 144 points steadily at 22905 and Shanghai Composite has gained 19 points at 3121.

The stock market opened, the Sensex, Nifty jump shot

On Monday, the first trading day of the week, the stock market is open on the green. The major share of the market is seeing a surge in the Sensex and Nifty. With a gain of 93.16 points Sensex was trading at 27307.76.

The Nifty is seeing a gain of 58.65 points. Nifty was trading at 8262.55, with the edge. Last week, the last day of trading Friday, or 0.76 per cent, BSE Sensex gained 204 points to close at 27.215.

Similarly, the NSE Nifty gained 59 points or 0.72 percent to close at the 8238. BSE Midcap index closed with a slight rise of 0.38 per cent, while the BSE smallcap flat with a gain of just 0.05 percent.

The 0.50 per cent and the CNX Smallcap NSE CNX Midcap gained 0.20 per cent.

Stock Market Updates and News | Commodity Tips Today

The market has finished lower. The BSE Sensex was down 189.04 points or 0.7 percent at 27878.27 and the NSE Nifty down 41.25 points or 0.5 percent at 8477.30. Around 1447 shares have propelled, 1423 shares declined, and 144 shares are unaltered. 

Bank of Baroda (up 15 percent) was top Nifty gainer while Tata Steel, SBI, GAIL, Coal India and Wipro were top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers were Cipla, Hindalco, ONGC, Hero Moto and Vedanta. 

The government raised the import tax esteem on gold to USD 363 for each 10 grams and silver to USD 499 for every kg, taking solid signals from the global market cues. 

MCX GOLDM October contract was trading at Rs 25951 up Rs 162, or 0.63 percent. The GOLDM rate touched an intraday high of Rs 25990 and an intraday low of Rs 25850. So far 867 contracts have been traded. GOLDM prices have moved down Rs 598, or 2.25 percent in the October contracts in this way.

Stock Market Today | MCX Commodity Trading Updates 10 August

After a steady rally through out the day, the market has 
ended lower.

At last, the Sensex shut at 28,101 down 135 points, while NSE Nifty shut at 8,526 down 39 points. 

The BSE Mid-cap shut at 11,555 down 0.02%, while BSE Small-cap shut down 12,055 at 0.41%. 

BHEL, Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki, TCS, Bajaj-Auto and SBI were among the gainers on NSE, though ONGC, Tata Motors, M&M, Cairn India and Hindalco were among the washouts today. 

The INDIA VIX was up 3.72% at 15.4650. It hit a high of 15.6225 and a low of 14.2425. The broadness is genuinely positive, with right around 900 propelling shares versus 600-odd declining stocks on the NSE.

Stock Market Tips Today | Commodity Intraday Trading Updates 23 July

The stock market entered into solid phase after rallying more than 1 percent in a previous session. The BSE Sensex gained 30.98 points at 28535.91 and the NSE Nifty advanced 8.55 points to 8642.05. 

The broader markets marginally outperformed benchmarks with the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices rising 0.35 percent and 0.8 percent, respectively. More than two shares advanced for every share declining on the Bombay Stock Exchange

Dr Reddy's Labs rallied more than 2 percent followed by GAIL and Vedanta with 1 percent upside. However, Tata Steel topped the selling list on Sensex, down 2.8 percent. HUL, Tata Motors and Bharti Airtel slipped 1-1.6 percent.

L&T has a better chart and a breakout in L&T may suggest a breakout in Nifty as well.

Axis Bank stock is mirroring Bank Nifty. Though, according to him, Bank Nifty is likely to underperform Nifty.

The stock market has continued its rally on the last day of the week. It rises half a percent in the early session on Friday. The BSE Sensex is up 140.69 points to 28086.49 and NSE Nifty is up 35.35 points to 8480.25.

Stock Market Tips Today | MCX Commodity Intraday Trading 30 June 2015

The stock market has opened on a slow note but gained its strength, although Greek crisis still continues and drag the global equities.

The Sensex start in red but soon it crosses the 100 points up in the market while nifty is also trading in green signals.

The Sensex traded 38.64 points up at 27683.32 with an intraday high of 27762.95 and low of 27570.95 while Nifty is traded 17.55 points up at 8335.95 with an intraday high of 8356.45 and low of 8298.95.

As per the market experts, there may be chances of dragging both the indices today’s if Greek is unable to make it for the IMF deadlines.

Stock Market Updates 29 June | MCX Commodity Tips Today

Due to Greece uncertainty the stock market fell abruptly, the BSE Sensex fell 518.45 to 27293.25 and NSE Nifty is down 153.25 points to 8227.85.

Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, SBI, Axis Bank and Hindalco are major laggards in the Sensex while there are no stocks in the green except the Bharti Airtel.

The Indian rupee has declined in the early trade on Monday morning. It has opened 20 paise lower at 63.84 per dollar compared to Friday’s closing.

Nifty still below 8000, Sensex flat; Share Market Trading Tips Tomorrow | MCX Commodity Intraday Tips Today 12 June 2015

The stock market has opened flat on Friday after deep cut seen yesterday. The BSE Sensex is up 55.16 points to 26426.15 and 50 share index Nifty is up 10.25 points to 7976.00. 

Bajaj Auto, Reliance, Wipro, Infosys, and Bharti Airtel are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are Tata Motors, Vedanta, Sun Pharma, Coal India and Axis Bank. 

The Reserve Bank Of India allowed Non Resident Indian (NRI) to invest in chit funds on non repatriation basis without any ceiling, a move that will encourage flow of capital into the country.

Stock market ends at 8 month low; Stock Market Trading Tips Tomorrow | MCX Commodity Tips Today 11 June 2015

It is another troubling day at Dalal Street. The Sensex shed 469.52 points or 1.7 percent at 26370.98 and the Nifty dove 159.10 points or 1.9 percent at 7965.35. 

Both the indices finished at 8-month most reduced shutting level. 

Around 792 shares propelled, 1852 shares declined, and 152 shares were unaltered. Tata Power, Tata Motors, Axis Bank, Cipla and Reliance were huge losers in the Sensex. 

Shares of ICICI Bank, HDFC, Infosys, HDFC Bank, Larsen & Toubro, SBI, ITC, BHEL, Axis Bank and NTPC declined 1-3 percent while Vedanta outperformed, up 2.5 percent ahead of likely meeting for considering of merger of Cairn with itself on June 14. HUL was up 0.9 percent and Sun Pharma gained 0.4 percent.

14 May 2015 Stock Market Still Down, Stock Market Intraday Tips | MCX Commodity Intraday Tips Today

The stock market trading is in selling pressure, BSE Sensex traded at 27088.01 and NSE Nifty traded at 8182.55 at 11.10 AM. 

Whereas the precious metal, Silver was also trading near the five-week high boosted by 3.5 percent gains in overnight. 

The Indian rupee has opened at 63.97 against per dollar with 3 paise gains on Thursday morning.

Stock market show relief; Sensex up 400 points

The stock market has opened strong, Sensex is up 382.29 points to 26981.40 and Nifty up 110.65 points to 8167.95, led by banking and FMCG Sectors. 

The biggest FMCG company Hindustan Unilever (HUL) will report its quarterly result on Friday. Profit after tax is expected to increase 9.8 percent to Rs 958 crore for as compared to the previous year earnings. 

Stocks that are in a news today's are HUL, SAIL, Titan Company, M&M, L&T, Reliance Power, Tata motors and United Bank. 

India is projected to achieve highest annual GDP growth rate of 7.9 percent over the next 8 years, overtake its rival China, according to a Center for International Development (CID) at Harvard University in its report.

Sensex and Nifty still down 2%, Oil and Pharma fall Sharply.

The stock market still down and continue to trade lower, Sensex is down 476.56 points traded at 26963.10 while Nifty is down 148.40 points traded at 8176.40. 

The Indian rupee has opened higher 10 paise up at 63.34 per dollar compared to previous day's closing value of 63.44. 

State Bank of Travancore's fourth quarter, net profit climbed 4 times a year on year to Rs 192 crore, supported by other income and operating profit. 

Bank of Baroda decreased the Base rate up to 0.25 bps. 

The Commodity Market has opened with the positive movement and shows upward movement in Gold, Silver, and Crude.

5 May 2015 Sensex & Nifty volatile, Tata Steel up 3.4 percent

The stock market has opened lower but started to gain its strength, Sense is up 71.45 points at 27.562.05 and Nifty is up 19.25 points at 8351.20. 

HDFC, ITC, Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, Cipla, NTPC and Coal India lost 1-2 percent while Tata Steel topped the buying list on Sensex, up 3.4 percent. 

Kotak Mahindra Bank's fourth quarter result expected to jump 19.3 percent year on year to Rs 485.67 crore, according to the CNBC Poll. 

In the Commodity Market, Gold and Silver opened on a lower note while Crude oil has opened flat, no much movements.

4 May, Sensex up by 300 pts while Nifty near 8300

Sensex made intraday high on 27386.60 and low on 27159.45 while the other index NSE Nifty make intraday high on 8292.65 and low on 8220.45. 

Here are the stocks that are in a news today for various reasons like HDFC Bank hike service fee up to 50 percent, Nestle, GAIL, Vodafone India, Bharti Airtel and Idea cellular.

On the global front the official purchasing managers Index(PMI) from china which measures the manufacturing growth show no improvement from the previous measures and still on the 50.1 as per the April market survey.

Oil marketing companies raise the price of petrol and diesel Rs 3.96 and 2.37 per litre respectively after the rate cut in the month of April.

Sensex below 27000; fell 227 points, Nifty gets weak on 30 April

Sensex traded at 27000.38, high on 27242.05 and low on 26924.14 while Nifty traded at 8172.80, high on 8229.40 and low on 8147.45. 


RBI imposes a penalty of 1.5 crore on each of this bank Dena Bank, OBC and BOM for violation of guidelines like KYC and Anti-money laundering norms. 

In the local domestic commodity market, the Gold, Silver and Crude opened weaker while NCDEX show some positive moves. 

The Indian rupee opened on 63.51 with 21 paise weak against per dollar on Thursday. As per the India Forex report, it may touch the 64 in near future. 

MCX Gold @ June traded at 27104.00, High of 27160 and Low of 27100, our financial experts says it's best time to buy the gold for intraday trading. 

MCX Crude oil @ May contract traded at 3731.00 and its time to buy and make a profit on 3760 and give SL on 3720.

29 April Stock Market traded Marginally lower, Sensex down 178 points

The stock market trading under the selling pressure in the morning session. Sensex fell 159 points at 27237.20 and Nifty down 46 points at 8239.00. 


Shares of HDFC, ITC, TCS and Vedanta fell around 1-2 percent followed by Bharti Airtel, SBI and Infosys with little losses. 

However, Axis bank topped the buying list in the Sensex and up 2 percent ahead of fourth quarter earnings. 

The Indian rupee opened lower at 63.22 per dollar on Wednesday against 63.15 on Tuesday.

28 April 2015 Stock Market show positive movements; Sensex up by 150 points and Nifty 50 points.

24 April Sensex falls over 100 pts; banks drag, ONGC supports

The stock market trading shows bearish behavior; Sensex falls 116 points in early trade while nifty down around the 50 points dragged by financial & banking sector and infrastructure. 

Sensex traded at 27620.73, High – 27829.11, Low – 27578.45 


Nifty traded at 8354.00, High – 8413.30, Low – 8342.60 

Shares of HDFC, Infosys, Axis Bank, L&T, Maruti Suzuki, HUL, M&M, Cipla and Bajaj Auto fell 1-2 percent followed by ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank with marginal loss. However, ITC and ONGC bucked the trend, rising over a percent and show gains in stock market trading. 

Infosys's fourth quarter result seen down and the revenue gets flat says the experts with fell around 2.7 percent. 

Oil prices dropped in the Asian market to take no profit while on the previous sessions it gets sudden profits in the market. 

Crompton greaves plan to sell its electrical business in around Rs 2000 crore says companies managing director.
