Live Stock Tips for Today (30th June)

Equity benchmarks remained under pressure in morning trade, with the Nifty struggling below 9500 level following correction in Asian peers. The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 49.59 points at 30,807.93 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 16.95 points to 9,487.15. Sun Pharma was the biggest gainer among Sensex stocks, up more than 3 percent. 

Top Gainers: Sun Pharma, Bank of Baroda, Aurobindo Pharm, ITC, Cipla 
Top Losers: Bosch, Tata Motors (D), Larsen, Bharti Airtel, HUL 

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has broken down so that is a sell with a stop loss at Rs 1,700, look for targets close to about Rs 1,630 and try to sell around Rs 1,675-1,680 range. 

Karnataka Bank sell with a stop loss at Rs 165.25 and look for a decline to about Rs 152.

Stock and Commodity Tips for Today (28th June)


The BSE Sensex which hit a record high last week came under selling pressure and was now trading below its crucial support level of 31,000 but there was greater damage seen in the broader market as over 70 stocks hit fresh 52-week low on the BSE. Stocks hit fresh 52-week low include names like Dr. Lal Pathlabs, Pidilite Industries, Atul Auto, Gallantt Ispat, Leel Electrical, Meenakshi Enterprises, Schneider Electric Infrastructure, Star Cement etc. among others.

The BSE Sensex is trading flat at 30,959, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9518 up 7 points. A total of 12 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 52 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. The BSE mid-cap Index is trading up 0.48% at 14,538, while BSE small-cap Index is trading up 0.45% at 15,209.

Oil prices tanked during early trade on Wednesday after a report of rising US fuel inventories underscored concerns that the three-year-old crude glut is far from over. Brent crude futures were at USD 46.32 per barrel at 0012 GMT, down 33 cents, or 0.7%, from their last close. Gasoline stocks surged 1.4 million barrels, despite the ongoing peak demand of US summer driving season.

Stock and Commodity Market Update - Crude Oil Slips


The BSE Sensex is trading at 29896 down 229 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9297 down 62 points. A total of 92 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 16 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 0.73% at 14771, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading down 0.45% at 15416.

After reaching a record high of 5.67 million tons of Pulses imports, which is 19.9 percent higher when compared to last year, India's Pulses imports this year is expected to decline to about 20 percent. However the domestic production of Pulses during the Fiscal year 17 was seen at 22.14 million tons, against the normal average consumption of 24 million tons. During 2015-16, the production was only 16.35 million tons due to the drought. Oil prices came down after big drop in previous session. World oil markets remained oversupplied despite OPEC cut. OPEC expected to extend output cut beyond June. Floating storage on tankers on the rise again in Asia.


Gold prices moved higher on Friday, as the U.S. dollar weakened broadly, although the Federal Reserve’s hawkish stance this week was expected to limit the precious metal’s gains. On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for June delivery were up 0.42% at $1,233.72. The June contract ended Thursday’s session 1.59% lower at $1,228.60 an ounce.

Currently, Gold is 83 points up at 28155 and Silver is also rising high with 195 points hike at 38247. Crude Oil has slipped 40 points down at 2891.
