Best Equity and Commodity Tips for Today (20th June)

The  BSE Sensex is trading at 31,334 up 22 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9666 up 9 points. A total of 73 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 45 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. The BSE mid-cap Index is trading up 0.51% at 14,893, while BSE small-cap Index is trading up 0.47% at 15,727. Some buying activity is seen in IT, Energy and Consumer Durables indices, while Realty index is showing weakness on BSE. Tata Power, Tata Motors, IOC and ICICI Bank are among the gainers, whereas Lupin, HDFC, GAIL and TCS are losing on the NSE. The INDIA VIX is up 0.3% at 10.6.

Equity Tips For Today (13th June)

Equity benchmark indices traded steady after it extended its gains in the previous session, with the Nifty inching closer to 9650-mark. The Sensex was up 98.03 points at 31193.73, while the Nifty was up 25.35 points at 9641.75. The market breadth was slightly narrow as 1,463 shares advanced, against a decline of 888 shares, while 161 shares were unchanged. Midcaps continued to strengthen, while IT stocks cracked, with the IT index on the Nifty falling nearly a percent. HDFC, Lupin, Bank of Baroda and Yes Bank were the top gainers, while Tata Motors, TCS, Tata Motors DVR and Tech Mahindra lost the most.

Commodity Market Update: Currently MCX Gold is 68 points down at 28925 while Silver is also 246 points down at 38919. In Base Metals, Aluminium is trading at 121.05, Copper is live at 371.55 points and Zinc has lost 1.75 points at 157.60.

Sensex, Nifty Slips Down - Best tips for Today

After shedding over 0.5 percent in the first hour of trade, the market looked to be steady at lower levels, with the Nifty hovering around 9400. The Sensex was down 149.90 points at 30421.07, while the Nifty was down 45.20 points at 9393.05.The market breadth was firmly placed in the negative zone as 330 shares advanced against a decline of 2,019 shares, while 98 shares were unchanged. GAIL, along with pharma stocks Sun Pharma and Aurobindo Pharma lost the most on both indices, while Maruti Suzuki, Wipro and Eicher Motors gained the most. Midcaps, PSU banks and metals cut its losses, while pharma index on the Nifty extended its losses.

Equity Indices Erases Early Gains - Latest Market Updates

Stock Market Updates: Selling pressure took charge on the D-Street in the late morning session as the market erased a huge chunk of its gains. The Sensex dropped down 46.94 points at 30387.85, while the Nifty had lost 24.55 points at 9404.90. The market breadth, however, was negative as 1,031 shares advanced against a decline of 1,385 shares, while 125 shares were unchanged.

Top Gainers: ITC, Yes Bank, HUL, SBI, Axis Bank

Top Losers: Hindalco, Asian Paints, Eicher Motors, TCS, BPCL

Asian Market Updates: Japan's Nikkei is 36 points up at 19590, Hong Kong's Hang Seng moved 51 points up at 25188 and China's Shanghai Composite is 3 points down at 3086.

Commodity Market Update: MCX Gold is just 25 points up at 28730 while Silver has jumpes 215 points at 39104. Natural Gas is maintained at 208 points with no major or minor gains and Crude Oil is 17 points up at 3254.

Stock and Commodity Market Update - Crude Oil Slips


The BSE Sensex is trading at 29896 down 229 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9297 down 62 points. A total of 92 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 16 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 0.73% at 14771, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading down 0.45% at 15416.

After reaching a record high of 5.67 million tons of Pulses imports, which is 19.9 percent higher when compared to last year, India's Pulses imports this year is expected to decline to about 20 percent. However the domestic production of Pulses during the Fiscal year 17 was seen at 22.14 million tons, against the normal average consumption of 24 million tons. During 2015-16, the production was only 16.35 million tons due to the drought. Oil prices came down after big drop in previous session. World oil markets remained oversupplied despite OPEC cut. OPEC expected to extend output cut beyond June. Floating storage on tankers on the rise again in Asia.


Gold prices moved higher on Friday, as the U.S. dollar weakened broadly, although the Federal Reserve’s hawkish stance this week was expected to limit the precious metal’s gains. On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for June delivery were up 0.42% at $1,233.72. The June contract ended Thursday’s session 1.59% lower at $1,228.60 an ounce.

Currently, Gold is 83 points up at 28155 and Silver is also rising high with 195 points hike at 38247. Crude Oil has slipped 40 points down at 2891.

Lates Stock and Commodity Market Updates - Expert View

The yellow metal jumped to a 5 month high on Thursday as the U.S. Dollar slipped, followed by Donald Trump’s comments that he prefers lower interest rates with the greenback getting too strong, as also due to the rising worries over U.S. relations with Russia and North Korea.

Nifty IT witnesses biggest intraday fall since March 15, 2017. The index touched its intraday low of 10142 levels down by nearly 1.7%. TCS is the top loser in the index trading lower by 2% at Rs 2343.6 per share. Infosys Limited is trading lower by 1.7% at Rs 952 per share. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.18% at 14372, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.59% at 14954.

Some buying activity is seen in Energy, Finance and Healthcare while FMCG, Information Technology and Telecom are showing weakness on BSE. Bank of Baroda, IndiaBulls Real Estate, Reliance Industries Limited and GAIL are among the gainers, whereas Hindalco, Infosys, TCS and Tata Steel are losing sheen on NSE.

Sensex live at 29560 with 83 points up and Nifty Live at 9181 with 21 points up.

Bank Nifty at record high - Latest Stock Market Update

As the stock market awaits Kotak Mahindra Bank's announcement today, speculations over a possible big buyout have sent some stocks including Axis Bank, Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services and Shriram Transport Finance high up. On Tuesday, the stock of these companies shot up by 3 to 5 percent in intraday trades amid expectations of a big buyout or merger announcement in the press conference which billionaire Uday Kotak, Promoter, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Kotak Mahindra Bank will be holding at 3.30 pm today.

Currently, BSE Sensex is 104 points up at 29514 while NSE Nifty50 is 28 points up at 9129. Banking stocks are in focus with the Nifty Bank index hitting a record high level. Bank Nifty is live on 21383 with 158 points up.

The rally on the index was helped by surge in State Bank of India, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank. Meanwhile, the Nifty PSU bank has gained the most in this week. In Bullion Market, Gold has lost 163 points at 28685 and Silver is down by 277 points at 42,111. Crude Oil is 9 points up at 3176

After starting the day on a tepid note, the market witnessed consolidation as investors awaited the outcome of US Federal Reserve’s policy meeting. Indices held on to key levels, but turned red after posting a mega rally on Tuesday. Indian Currency Rupee is trading higher by 31 paise at 65.51. In Comodity Market, MCX Gold is 101 points down at 27975 and Silver has lost 88 points at 39995. Crude Oil has moved up 44 points at 3180.

Stock And Commodity Market Update

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 28,765 down 73 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8,867 down 31 points. A total of 14 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. BSE Bankex is underperforming on Friday’s trade. ICICI Bank is down by 0.9%, IndusInd Bank is down by 0.9%, Kotak Mahindra Bank is down by 0.8% and Bank of Baroda is down by 0.8%. While Axis Bank is up by 0.6%, Yes Bank is up by 0.5% and Federal Bank is up by 0.2%.

MCX Gold has moved down 31 points at 29139 while Silver is 25 points down at 42618. Cotton slipped 190 points at 21080.

Commodity Market Tips For Crude Oil and Copper

Reliance Industries helped equity benchmarks extending gains in noon trade. The stock rallied 10 percent, hitting nearly 8-year high after announcements of tariff plans. Its contribution to benchmarks is nearly 100 percent and its current weightage in the Nifty is 6.01 percent, close to Infosys that has 6.02 percent weightage. The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 188.01 points or 0.65 percent to 28949.60 and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 49.25 points or 0.55 percent at 8957.10. In Bullion market, Gold has lost 71 points at 29230 and Silver is 146 points down at 42690.

Crude Oil: Crude oil prices are expected to trade high for the day, while comments from OPEC members regarding compliance of production cuts remain positive for oil markets.

Base Metals: Precious metals prices are range bound for the day due to the stronger dollar index and talk of higher interest rates in the US.

Commodity Market Update
PRECIOUS METALS: Precious metal prices are range bound for the day, easing on a stronger dollar amid political and economic uncertainty in the United States and Europe.

ENERGY: Crude oil prices down yesterday by API weekly report which noted a sharp 14.2 million barrels increase in US crude stocks. China's 2016 oil demand grew at the slowest pace in at least three years raising concerns about demand growth.

BASE METALS: Base metal prices are range bound yesterday due to dollar rose and worries about demand growth in top consumer China. Lending support to the prices is worries of supply disruption after workers at Chile’s Escondido Copper mine decide to initiate strike from Thursday.

Market Update - Commodity Tips and Calls For Today

Stock Market opened on negative note on the back of weak Asian bourses but bounced back later. Realty and Metal sectors pulled the markets upward with 2% and 1.3% gains. IT sector is weak on the back of poor performance from HCL Tech and Infosys. Market Bias is positive with 1432 advances and 8432 declines on BSE.

The BSE Sensex is trading at 27284.35 up 46.29 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8408.4 up 8.05 points. A total of 39 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 9 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 41 at 12680.93, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 68 points at 12758. Adani Port, Idea, Tata Steel, Zeel, Tata Motors are among the gainers, whereas HCL Tech, Infosys, Eicher Motors, Tech Mahindra are losing sheen on NSE. The INDIA VIX is trading at 15.0725 up 4.80%.

Sensex Nifty Volatile - Stock Tips Today

Indian Stock Market opened lower ahead of global cues, however equity benchmarks are trying to overcome the losses. Sensex has moved up 39 points at 26019 while Nifty is just 10 points up at 7989. BSE MidCap jumped up 43 points at 11851 while BSE SmallCap has jumped up 26 points at 11851.

About 1124 shares have advanced, 1018 shares have declined while 151 shares are still unchanged.

Equity Benchmarks Under Selling Pressure - Rupee Fell Down

The market continues to struggle ahead of November Futures and Options expiry today. Selling pressure continues over the market. The BSE Sensex is down 105.71 points or 0.4 percent at 25946.10 and the 50-share index Nifty is down 37.90 points or 0.5 percent at 7995.40. About 1135 shares have advanced, 929 shares declined, and 110 shares are still unchanged. Indian Currency Rupee has striked the 9 months lowest today.

In Bullion Market MCX Gold dropped 157 points at 28672 and Silver is 383 points down at 40143. In Energy sector, Natural Gas trading at 207 points with mere drop of 2.50 points and Crude Oil has lost 13 points at 3305.

In Asian Market, Nikkei is 191 points up at 18354 while Hang Seng is 66 points down at 22610 and Taiwan Index is trading 26 points down at 9152.

Sensex Nifty Rising Higher, Bankex Sector Up - Free Gold Tips

On the first day of a new week, Indian stock market opened with good gains. Sensex has hiked 109 points to 28708 while Nifty is up 0.45 percent or 39 points to 8819. BSE Healthcare sector is up 100 points to 16575 and BSE IT sector contributed by gaining 106 points to 10433. Midcap Sectors have gained an inch in the positive zone. Yet 1355 shares have advanced, 855 declined and 139 are unchanged.

Asian Market indices are trading broadly higher today with benchmark share of Hong Kong, Hang Seng leading the region with 253 points gain at 23588, and Shanghai Composite is trading at 3020 with minor gain of 17 points. Japan market is closed today for public holiday.

MCX Gold has hiked 109 points to 30922 and Silver has hiked 624 points to 45897. Crude Oil has hiked 41 points to 2984. Indian currency is trading with futher strength of 10 paise at 66.88.

BSE Auto and Bankex Sector Slumped, Commodity Market Down

On Friday, 9 September Stock Market opened on a flat note. Sensex and Nifty have slumped a large amount of points. Sensex lost 236 points to 28809 and Nifty dropped 75 points to 8877. BSE Auto index is 304 points down, BSE Bankex dropped 227 points and Bank Nifty lost 190 points yet in todays session. ONGC, GAIL, TCS, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, NTPC, RIL and Coal India are among the gainers, whereas Axis Bank, Tata Motors, HDFC, ITC, SBI, Adani Ports and ICICI Bank are losing sheen on BSE.

Bullion Market is trading in the negative zone. MCX Gold has dropped 19 points to 31184 while Silver has lost 167 points to 46547. Natural Gas with no major hike trading at 187 points while Crude Oil dropped 21 points to 3143.
