Sensex rises over 150 points, Nifty around 9450; Expert Views

Stock Market News: Equity benchmarks continued to trade higher in morning, backed by banking & financials, metals and auto stocks. The 30-share BSE Sensex rose 121.43 points to 30,309.58 and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 39.45 points at 9,440.35. The broader markets extended gains, with the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices up 1.1 percent and 0.8 percent, respectively. About 1454 shares advanced against 948 declining shares on the BSE. ITC, ICICI Bank, HDFC, SBI and Mahindra & Mahindra were leading contributors to Sensex gains while Infosys, Reliance Industries, TCS, Adani Ports and Wipro were losers.

Expert View: Yes Bank, Titan, and Idea Cellular, among others, are on the radar of analysts on Monday.

Commodity Market News: Basmati exports from the country was seen a decline of about 4.90 percent, the export share of Basmati from the country is about 20 percent. The export volume for Basmati is estimated at 4 million tons against the 4.046 million tons of previous year. The domestic prices of Wheat and Maize have remained higher than the global market even though the export value and volume declined. This has also restricted the prospects of Indian commodity exports in the global market.

Lates Stock and Commodity Market Updates - Expert View

The yellow metal jumped to a 5 month high on Thursday as the U.S. Dollar slipped, followed by Donald Trump’s comments that he prefers lower interest rates with the greenback getting too strong, as also due to the rising worries over U.S. relations with Russia and North Korea.

Nifty IT witnesses biggest intraday fall since March 15, 2017. The index touched its intraday low of 10142 levels down by nearly 1.7%. TCS is the top loser in the index trading lower by 2% at Rs 2343.6 per share. Infosys Limited is trading lower by 1.7% at Rs 952 per share. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.18% at 14372, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.59% at 14954.

Some buying activity is seen in Energy, Finance and Healthcare while FMCG, Information Technology and Telecom are showing weakness on BSE. Bank of Baroda, IndiaBulls Real Estate, Reliance Industries Limited and GAIL are among the gainers, whereas Hindalco, Infosys, TCS and Tata Steel are losing sheen on NSE.

Sensex live at 29560 with 83 points up and Nifty Live at 9181 with 21 points up.

Stock and Commodity Tips By Experts For Today

Equity benchmarks gained strength amid consolidation in noon trade, with the Nifty climbing above 9250 level ahead of outcome of Monetary Policy Committee meeting tomorrow, backed by Reliance Industries. The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 27.17 points at 29,937.39, and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 15.30 points at 9,253.15 while the broader markets continued to outperform. The Nifty Midcap was up 0.8 percent and Smallcap gained 1.2 percent. About five shares advanced for every two shares falling on the BSE. Reliance Industries gained 2.4 percent and Adani Ports rallied 3.5 percent followed by Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Bank, L&T and HUL while HDFC, ITC, Infosys and ICICI Bank were losers.

BSE Mid-cap index is outperforming the major indices in the market in the morning hours on Friday. 3M India Limited is the top gainer in the index trading at Rs 11775 per share, higher by 4.8%. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited is the biggest contributor to the index gains trading at Rs 527 per share up by 1.8%. There are 956 advances, 569 declines and 394 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly positive bias floating in the market. The BSE Sensex is trading at 29576 down 70 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9155 down 18 points. A total of 73 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 15 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. Indian Stock Market Riding High; Nifty Touched 8800 level

Nifty 50 has touched 8800 level first time after October 5, 2015. BSE Sensex has moved up 204 points up at 28444 and NSE Nifty has raised 59 points at 8800. Except IT and Teck sector all the other sectors are trading in the positive zone. BSE Small Cap is 135 points up at 13557 while BSE MidCap has moved up 113 points at 13398 and Nifty Midcap is live at 16170 with 135 points hike. Stock market slipped down on the first session of the new year. Sensex dropped down 136 points at 26489 while 50 share index Nifty is 38 points down at 8147. Nifty Midcap is 22 points up at 14389. All the commodities of MCX are trading in the positive zone with nickel leading the region 0.79 percent hike while Gold has hiked 70 points at 27515 and Silver was 138 points up at 39187. Crude Oil hiked 23 points at 3673.

About 1377 shares have advanced, 825 shares have declined and 1430 shares are still unchanged.

Sensex Nifty Volatile - Stock Tips Today

Indian Stock Market opened lower ahead of global cues, however equity benchmarks are trying to overcome the losses. Sensex has moved up 39 points at 26019 while Nifty is just 10 points up at 7989. BSE MidCap jumped up 43 points at 11851 while BSE SmallCap has jumped up 26 points at 11851.

Stock market opened lower today however after IT stocks jumped made the equity benchmarks to bounce up. Currently Sensex is 91.81 points up at 26694 and Nifty is 29 points up at 8211. Stock Market opened in red, however with firm global cues benchmark indices are moving in the positive zone. Sensex is 59.26 up at 26375 while Nifty is 18.50 points up at 8132. In broader market small cap and midcap sectors are touching the heights. BSE Small Cap is 111 points up at 12139, BSE Midcap has moved up 100 points at 12283 and Nifty Midcap has jumped 136 points at 14666.

On Last Trading day, Asian Market Back on Track


Indian Domestic Market got a little pace when Asian Market got boosted up today. Currently Sensex live at 24937.22 with the hike of 85.39 and Nifty Live at 7599 with the hike of 30.70. Along with the MidCap and SmallCap Index, Metal index is also trading high today. Stocks of Yes Bank, Tata Steel, Tata Motos and Sun Pharma are moving up with a gain of more than 2%. 
Midday Market trade brings good news for the Indians. Crude oil dropped by 30 Dollar in Indian Crude Basket and this results in lowering the price of Petrol and Diesel. Currently, crude oil is trading at 2265 level.
